Slab Leak Repair in Oceanside, CA

A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because of a slab leak.

ASAP hung plastic in master bathroom/vanity area. The 2 foot by 2 foot linoleum flooring was removed and the slab was jack hammered. The broken concrete was removed and mud vacuumed. The exposed 3/4″ copper line feeding into the vanity was shown to have the pinhole leak.

The back flows, recirculating pump, and boiler were turned off.

A 1 foot section of the copper pipe including the pinhole was cut out. Due to the volume of water and crossfeed, an isolation valve was installed to stop the water in order to allow for repairs.

Once repairs were made, the water was restored and there were no leaks at this time. The recirculating pump and boiler were turned back on.

Fresh sand was back-filled into the trench and rough patched with Rapid Set Concrete. The work area was cleaned up.
