A property management company contacted ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing to install a recirculating line for units 125 and 126 with isolation valves and install shut off valves to 126 stack kitchen hot line in parking garage. The HOA and management scheduled and post notice of repairs.
The ASAP technician shut off the recirculating pump in water heater room on the third floor. He shut off valves to isolate the recirculating line in the underground parking garage. He then installed approximately 35 feet of 1/2″ type L copper piping and tie in the new recirculating lateral line to existing 3/4″ recirculating line above space 98 and to 1″ hot copper main above parking space 101 with 1/2″ isolation valve at both tie ins.
The tech installed a new 3/4″ ball valve on hot copper line to 126 stack kitchen. He removed existing broken 3/4″ ball valve on the recirculating line for 123 and 124 stacks and installed a new 3/4″ ball valve. He turned on all isolation valves and recirculating pump, tested for leaks, and proper function. There are no leaks and the system is working properly at this time. Lastly the technician cleaned up the work area.
