Timeframe Three Days
Location Escondido, CA
A mobile home park management company contacted ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing to repair a leak around the asphalt from the water main line between mobile home spaces #38 and #39.
Upon arrival, the ASAP technician jackhammered the asphalt where the water was emerging. A trench was dug approximately 1 1/2 feet deep to expose 2 Schedule 80 pipes in the ground however there was no leaks coming from the pipe. The technician jackhammered another 9 feet of asphalt and trenched the dirt to find the leak was coming from a 2″ Schedule 80 glued coupling.
The water supply was turned off to a section of the mobile home park. The tech cut out the leaking section of the pipe. He installed a new section of 2″ Schedule 80 pipe and turned the water supply back on to test for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
The technician hauled off the old asphalt and saturated dirt to the landfill. He compacted the trench with new dirt and rough concrete patched the 9 feet of concrete that was jackhammered.
