A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because one of their buildings did not have hot water.
ASAP gained roof access. The technician found that the Raypak High Limit Delta 1 million BTU boiler was not generating hot water. There were error codes on the display. The tech also found that the flow switch was bad due to the flow switch leaking. He then powered off the boiler and bypassed the flow switch. He was able to turn on the boiler temporarily.
The tech returned the following morning with a new flow switch. The boiler and water supply was turned off to isolate the boiler. The tech removed the wire harness from the old flow switch and then removed the flow switch from the boiler manifold. The water supply was turned back on to the boiler and air removed from the line. The boiler was then powered on, tested, and is working properly at this time.
