A property management company contacted ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing to repair a leak on the driveway of one of their properties in San Diego, CA. The property owner noticed an accumulation of water in the driveway. ASAP coordinated with CPL who marked and located the area that needed to be dug up and exposed in order to reach the leak. The water supply was shut off.
The ASAP technician dug approximately four feet deep and to expose the 2 1/2 inch copper water main line transitioning into schedule 80 PVC.
After disassembling and rebuilding the transition union, the tech restored the water supply to the building using backflow. He also tested and ensured proper function. There are no leaks at this time. The tech backfilled the hole 48 hours later.
