A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing after hours to perform a leak investigation. The tenant reported a leak behind the shower. They were not able to turn water off at the source so the water to the building was shut off. Adjoining tenants can also hear water in their kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom walls.
The ASAP technician replaced the shower valve in the upstairs bathroom via access through the drywall behind the shower.
The customer also requested an estimate to replace two ball valves. Once the estimate was approved, the tech accessed the shower behind the drywall. He removed the broken shower valve, installed a new Moen shower valve, handle, and plate. The bath spout was also replaced with a new spout. The technician turned the water supply back on and tested for proper function and leaks. Everything is working properly at this time and there are no leaks. Lastly, the technician cleaned up the work area.
