A commercial property management company contacted ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing to have a kitchen sink water line installed in an electrical panel room. The technician explained to the customer that the only way to install a sink was to pull a drain over from the women’s restroom. The handicap toilet would need to be temporarily removed.
The technician cut open the bathroom tile and connected the drain to the toilet vent. He went around the framing inside the wall and made it an exterior drain along the wall. He cut holes in the wall to run the drain through and strap to the outside of the drywall.
He then ran the cold water line from the ceiling. This required a full water shut down. The cold water line was split into two shut off valves where the sink will be installed and doing so would allow an Insta-Hot mini water heater to be installed by the property management. Lastly, the ASAP technician cleaned up the work area.
The property management company was responsible for installing the actual sink and cabinetry installation.
