A property management company contact ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because a tenant’s water heater pilot kept going out. The ASAP technician informed the management company that the pilot assembly was bad and warranty was expired. He received approval from the management company to replace it.
The technician shut off the gas supply, removed the old pilot assembly, and control valve. He installed a new pilot assembly and hooked the system back up. The gas supply was turned back on and water heater was lit back up. He tested for gas leaks but there are not leaks at this time and the system is working properly. Lastly the technician cleaned up the work area.
