Video Inspection in Oceanside, CA

The buyer of a home requested a video inspection of the main drain line to the city street connection. from ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing. The realtor was on site.

The ASAP technician found a mainline cleanout cap in the backyard by the rear sliding door. He found the ABS drain line to be in good condition, glue joints looked perfect, and slope continual with no low spots. All tie in connections look great.

There was a cleanout located in the garage as well. The tech video inspected this cleanout to the property line. From there, it goes under the sidewalk to the PVC drain line. Drain line under the street to the city connection is also in great condition.

The technician did find a belly or low spot where the drain is flat and holds water right before the sidewalk at the property line cleanout. He noted that this was typical and he did not see this as an issue. Should it become an issue, ASAP can repair the drain. Usually drain maintenance such as cable snaking or hydrojetting will help clear the line if it becomes clogged.
