A homeowner was referred by another ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing customer because she needed the gas valve to her outside fire pit replaced.
The ASAP technician had to shut off the gas ball valve on the exterior wall of the home. He used a chipping hammer to carefully expose the right angle fire pit valve recessed in the cinder block bench. Once the valve was exposed, the tech carefully cut the unit out. Using two unions, the tech installed a new right angle shut off valve for the fire pit. He tested for leaks but there are no leaks at this time.
The tech installed a 10″ x 12″ metal access panel and sealed the joints with caulking. The fire pit was lit and is working properly at this time. Lastly, the tech cleaned up the work area.
