A homeowner called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing to get a rusted galvanized line replaced from her home to 150 feet to the street.
Upon arrival, ASAP rerouted a single line of approximately 70 feet in length, 10 drill points. This required 40 feet of trenching and 4 feet saw cutting of concrete slab.
ASAP trenched from the meter to the garage and saw cut 4′ of concrete slab. The tech ran 1″ soft copper line waterline up to the garage wall and then ran 1″ copper line over garage door and tie into the house. He backfilled the trench and compact, and replaced the cement slab section. The work area was cleaned.
ASAP also replaced a double union regulator 3/4″ while on site. The tech shut down the water supply and drained the system. He removed the old pressure regulator and installed a new pressure regulator inside the garage where the new water service line comes in. The water supply was turned back on, checked for leaks, and new water pressure reading. There are no water leaks at this time.
