Replace Leaking Water Heater in Encinitas, CA

A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because of a tenant’s water heater was leaking from the top and needed to be replaced.

The ASAP technician turned off the cold water to the water heater and drained the water. He removed the hot and cold water flex lines, gas flex line, and earthquake straps. He then soldered in a 3/4 inch MIP on the cold water side. He installed a new 40 gallon Bradford natural gas water heater and new hot and cold water flex lines. He also installed a new gas flex line with drip leg. The earthquake straps we reinstalled. The water heater was filled and tested for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. The pilot light was turned back on. Lastly the technician cleaned up the work area.
