A property management company contacted ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because of a broken drainage pipe that needed to be repaired. The HOA was trying to complete an asphalt pour and the contractor found many cracked and broken landscaping drained buried below the surface.
ASAP’s technician had inspected all the drains and found they were dead lines. They all had caps on them and were most likely intended to be used but were never completed. There was no exit for the line for ASAP to conduct any repairs.
The tech excavated approximately 60 feet of schedule 20 broken landscape drains one foot below the surface and capped them off completely away from the driveways. Removing the cracked drains should stop water from cracking the new asphalt and prevent random leaks.
