ASAP started by trenching dirt between tight space of electrical boxes. ASAP vaccumed out water and continued to dig trench to expose leak. ASAP found there is a leaking 2” PVC 90 underneath the electrical box. Water will need to be shut off to complex in order to perform repair. ASAP set up caution tape around trench.
After receiving approval from the HOA, ASAP shut off water to complex. ASAP sawcut 2” PVC mainline and sump pumped water out from trench. ASAP drained water system out. ASAP sawcut 1 1/2” PVC mainline from water meter. ASAP removed section of 2” PVC mainline from underneath electrical box to water meter. ASAP installed new schedule 80 and 90 fittings from water meter to end of electrical box. ASAP installed new section of 2” schedule 80 pipe with 90 fittings. ASAP waited until glue dried. ASAP restored water to the building and checked for leaks. There are no leaks at this time. ASAP backfilled dirt and cleaned up area.
