Leak Repair in Escondido, CA

A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing due to an ice maker valve to the refrigerator that would not shut off and was actively leaking.

Upon arrival the ASAP technician found the water supply shut off to house. The technician found a 1/4″ hose coming out from behind the refrigerator. He traced the line and found that the line coming out of wall traces back to underneath laundry room sink. Technician called the property management company to inform them of his findings. ASAP was authorized to install new 1/2″ cold water line.

Technician soldered a new 1/2″ PEX adapter to 1/2″ copper line in the attic. He ran approximately 30ft of new 1/2″ PEX to the new ice maker box. He removed the angle stop underneath the laundry sink and cap line. The water supply was turned on to the house. He tested for leaks but there are no leaks at this time.
