A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing due to a leak in the front yard of tenant’s home.
The ASAP technician found a large area that was saturated from a possible leak coming from the main line upstream from the meter. The tech checked the meter after he shut off the water at the shut off valve and saw the micro dial spinning, indicating a leak in the main line.
The tech removed grass and soil, saving it to the side for the property management to place back once the plumbing repair was complete. The main line and break was exposed. The technician then cut out the break in the line and rebuilt the line. The water supply was restored. After two hours of allowing the glue to properly cure, the line was tested for leaks. There are no leaks at this time.
