A property management company called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because of a leak coming from a tenant’s dining room wall.
ASAP found the access hole made in the first unit’s kitchen wall and dining room wall. The tech observed that there was watering pooling on the floor. The tech then made a 1′ x 1′ access hole above the kitchen sink faucet inside of the cabinet. He found water leaking from the second unit.
The tech found the access hole under the kitchen sink faucet in the second unit. There were no leaks found. The tech then removed the dishwasher from the cabinet. He made a 2′ x 2′ access hole in the drywall behind the dishwasher and found the 3/4″ x 1/2″ x 1/2″ copper tee with a pinhole leak. The tech clamped the leak to temporarily stop the water. The property manager will need to give notice of water shut off to complete this repair.
