A commercial property management company reached out to ASAP Drain Guys and Plumbing because of water pooling and flooding at the planters at the rear of one of their shopping centers. ASAP recommended installing area drains in the four planters at the rear of the building, sloping the landscaping towards the added drains, and connecting the roof drains to the new area drains. The drains would discharge to the street.
Upon arrival, ASAP saw-cut and jackhammered the concrete walkways as necessary to run new piping. ASAP provided the generator. Concrete debris was disposed of off-site. The techs excavated a trench from the street to the four planters. They then installed area drains in the four planters and connected roof drains to the new are drains. ASAP ran piping to discharge to the street. They tested the new piper for proper function and leaks.
The trench was backfilled and compacted with native soil. The concrete patch was made to match as best as possible to the original concrete. Lastly, ASAP cleaned up the work area.
