A property management company contact ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because they needed an estimate for a blocked 6″ storm drain to be hydrojetted, video inspected, and replaced.
The ASAP technician found the partially buried 6″ storm drain outlet pipe located on the hillside behind the home. The outlet pipe was full of dirt and roots from inside of the pipe. According to the property manager, the 6″ storm drain pipe is a common storm drain for the home and to the neighboring homes.
The technician recommended removing all the roots surrounding the storm drain outlet pipe on the slope hillside and excavate around the pipe to expose up to a foot in length so that the broken end of the 6″ PVC pipe can be cut and extended with a coupling and longer section of pipe.
The technician hydrojetted as much as possible in an attempt to clear out as much of the root intrusion and dirt. He performed a camera inspection to evaluate the inside of the 6″ PVC line and to report his findings back to the property manager.
