A property management called ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing because a tenant had a gas smell coming from the stacked washer and dryer units.
The ASAP technician performed an investigation and found a very small leak at the gas shut off valve. The tech received authorization from the property management company to fix the gas leak. The technician removed the old gas shut off valve and installed a new gas shut off valve. He then tested for leaks but there are none at this time.
The technician also tested the dryer. It is working property at this time. If the leak continues, the tech recommended to the property management to call an appliance technician to perform an investigation. All exposed gas lines, flex lines, and connections were tested and show no leaks at this time.
