A nursing and rehabilitation center contacted ASAP Drain Guys & Plumbing to repair a broken 4″ outgoing cast iron tee fitting inside the grease interceptor.
ASAP arrived during after hours as no water usage in the kitchen was absolutely necessary in order to repair the pipe inside of the grease interceptor.
The grease interceptor was pumped out. ASAP techs then hydrojetted the line to the grease interceptor to prep it for sectional lining. They performed sectional lining on the outgoing line and extended the piping from 6″ to 12″ inside the tank for tee fitting. The sectional lining was allowed time for curing. After curing, the techs cut the newly extended piping inside the tank to the proper length and installed new 4″ ABS tee fitting and installed 24″ of 4″ ABS piping on the bottom side of the newly installed ABS tee fitting.
The cement was allowed to cure. ASAP tested for leaks and proper functionality and the lines and grease interceptor are working properly at this time. Lastly, ASAP cleaned up the work area.
